Whole Life Dog Training

MEET THE TRAINER

NATASHA WHITFIELD

I’ve had a passion for animals my entire life, especially dogs. At 18, I began my career as a dog trainer at a commercial pet store, and I’ve been helping dogs and their owners ever since. After gaining valuable experience working at doggy daycares and learning from experienced trainers, I founded Whole Life Dog Training to turn my passion into a career dedicated to helping families build better relationships with their dogs.

With more than 10 years of hands-on training experience and a lifetime of owning dogs, I understand that dogs are more than pets, they’re family. My goal is to help bridge the communication gap between people and their dogs by teaching owners how to communicate clearly, build trust, and create lasting results.

I specialize in personalized, in-home training tailored to your family’s unique goals and your dog’s individual personality. Whether you’re working on basic obedience, leash manners, behavior challenges, or simply strengthening your bond, I’m here to give you the knowledge and confidence to continue your dog’s success long after our training sessions are over.

WHERE WE TRAIN

IN YOUR HOME

IN THE COMMUNITY

Training takes place in the comfort of your own home, where your dog feels safe, relaxed, and behaves naturally. Working in the place where the unwanted behaviors actually occur allows us to address them in real-life situations, making training more practical, effective, and easier to maintain.

By teaching both you and your dog in your home, you’ll build skills that fit seamlessly into your daily routine.

Once your dog has developed a solid foundation at home, we’ll take those skills into the real world. For leash walking, recall, and general manners around distractions, training sessions are held at calm parks, dog-friendly stores, and other community settings.

Practicing in new environments helps your dog learn to stay focused and responsive despite everyday distractions.

HOW WE TRAIN

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program. You choose the training priorities and I teach you how to reach them. Instead of someone else training your dog for you, you’ll learn the methods, timing, and communication skills needed to train your own dog.

Whether your goals are reliable obedience, loose-leash walking, or teaching fun new tricks, you’ll leave with the knowledge to continue your dog’s progress long after our sessions end.
